This will be a very hands-on and interactive course, which will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge required to confidently administer first aid. 

To put you at ease, the assessment for first aid courses recently changed.  You will be assessed during the course, using observation and a short question paper. This means that people tend to be more relaxed during the assessment process than was the case during the previously used individual assessment. 

We strive to provide a very supportive approach to training, so please do not hesitate to ask any questions before or during the course.

The course will be held at the Scarborough Campus of the University of Hull (Filey Road, Scarborough, YO11 3AZ). This venue is on the bus route from Scarborough, and it has a good number of car parking spaces. We can arrange for a free visitors parking permit from reception (we can do this on the day). We will meet you in the reception area, which is on the right-hand side (front) of the building, when approaching from the car park.
