Unlike other ‘CPR support’ devices that claim to measure the force and speed of compressions, PAD 500P with CPR advisor is the only device to use impedance cardiogram (ICG) measurement of actual cardiac output, to give feedback on CPR. In order words, it can determine electrically through the defibrillation pads, whether your compressions are effective.
Not only will voice prompts guide a person through the process of defibrillation, but this device will tell the individual to “Push Harder”, ”Push Faster” or indicate whether a person is doing “Good Compressions”; this information is all based on real cardiac output (real blood flow).

The HeartSine samaritan PAD 500P comes with 1 PAD-Pak™ (combined battery & electrode cartridge), which has a 3.5 year battery life. It is suitable for adults, and children who are older than 8 years or who weigh more than 25kg. The product has a carry case (Yellow/Blue), user manual, quick reference card. It also comes with a 10 year warranty.
A second PAD-PAK can be purchased at the checkout. A Paediatric-Pak™ combined battery & paediatric electrode cartridge can also be bought for use on children.
