Less than 10% of people in the United Kingdom are first aid trained, so teaching school-aged children how to prevent and treat emergency situations is an important part of promoting first aid.  Developing a child’s first aid skills from an early age will embed this essential skill, and allow all children to grow in confidence.

ASB deliver hands-on and interactive first aid sessions to groups of school children around Scarborough, York and Hull.  The courses are designed to build confidence, whilst developing knowledge and understanding of first aid skills.  The sessions are linked to the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.

ASB first aid courses are also available for individuals who are aged 14 years and older.
